Kyley's 1st REAL Snow

In mid to late February Wichita set some records in regards to snowfall.  The first storm dropped 14.2 inches starting the day we landed from Scottsdale, AZ (great welcome home gift).  The second storm a week later dropped another 6.8 inches totaling 21 inches.  The storms broke a record that was exactly 100 years old: 20.5 inches of snow fell in February 1913.
Kyley did not get out much her first year, and we honestly did not have snow to speak of other than a light dusting here or there until this big storm system.  Therefore, Kyley did not own snow boots or snow pants...she of course had a coat and accessories because it still can get cold.  Mommy got laughed at by most stores trying to buy that stuff so late in the season and here in general, but thanks to our wonderful friends Ms. Tracy, Caroline and Annabelle...we were set to go.
Daddy got both of her sleds out from Great Aunt Dale and Grandpa Bob for their first uses and sadly probably last of the season.  Kyley and mommy are not sure who had more fun in the snow...daddy or Kyley...it for sure was not mommy.

Kyley and Daddy built a snowman too.  The poor guy was on his side the next day, but we sure made the memory!

Interestingly enough Kyley asked if she could eat snow...not sure what possessed her, but she sure enjoyed that too!
The funniest part of all the playing was Kyley thinking we could end the fun with a boat ride.  She did get to lounge in her sun chair!
Mommy hates snow and cold, daddy seems to love it, and Kyley made much needed memories in it!
