A little bit of this and a little bit of that!

It is only fitting to throw in a random post of snapshots of Ms. Kyley!  She is such a busy body, so mommy and daddy are always trying to get some "action" photos!  Here are some other fun tidbits about Kyley and what she has been up to!
Kyley's love for small stuffed animals or her "friends" had her trying to steal her cousin's Ava doll that she has had for 12 years!  And, she still likes to get cute and crazy on her rocker!

She likes to stash her snacks in any cup she can find and sit like a "big girl" on the couch!  Kyley has also continued to have a love for suckers or "sucker balls" as she calls them!
Kyley puts on her backpack like Dora, and she tells mommy and daddy she is going to school...not if her mommy can help it!!!!  The doll pack 'n' play is still just her size too!

She continues to be infatuated with rocks, sticks and pinecones, and they are her toy of choice when we sit out on the deck and play!  And, Kyley always wants to be treated like a big girl!
We have been having so much fun at the zoo...it's like going to the neighborhood park for us!  Kyley cannot get enough, and she likes to show off her skills!
The Gorillas are an absolute "must see" every visit!  Kyley likes to climb and monkey around too!
Mommy cannot get enough of her energetic giggles and smiles!
Kyley was able to support the Jayhawks in the NCAA Championship, although her friends, Eli and Dylan Miller, are Kentucky fans!

She had a ton of fun sitting at their little table and enjoying their toys too!

Kyley also got to pick up her friend, Brooklyn, from school and have her over to play!  She cannot get enough of her!
Little Miss Princess loves all of her friends, but she sure makes it clear whose throne and castle it is;)!

Cousin Calyn & Me

Since Uncle Greg is in Houston already and Aunt Emily has been busy with work and the move, she has needed some help here and there with watching Calyn.  Thankfully, Calyn's Grandma Cindy was not able to take off work so mommy and Kyley got to have her come play;)!

As the two girls get older...there is no doubt they get smarter...and even cuter.  They love to be near each other, but they do play well alone.  However, it seems they both probably get enough alone time at home so when they are together they take full advantage of it.  They are a bit mischievous at times and often one wonders what they are up to next.

We made a trip to the zoo and as expected the girls had a hoot!  The zoo rents these AWFUL, uncomfortable double strollers, but the two of them never seemed to mind.  And, it was the only way that we could pull it off with out one of them ending up in the water with the fish or off chasing the geese and ducks.
The time is drawing nearer that Cousin Calyn will make her big move South...although we know we will see her...we sure will miss her being so close!

Family & Friend visits begin

The weekend of March 23rd began the first of many family and friend visits at Kyley's Castle:)!  Her Auntie Melissa and cousins, Morgan, Luke and Josh came to visit!  They were at the end of their Spring Break, so they wanted to come see Ms. Kyley.  It is no secret that she loves kids and her cousins especially, so she of course had a great time.

We went to dinner on Friday, and Kyley had a fun time showing off to all of them.  Saturday morning we went to the zoo and she got to show them all of her animal friends.

On Saturday evening we got to see even more family that had come to town to visit.  Auntie Emily and Cousin Calyn came over and brought Grandma Barb and Barney with them.  We went for a boat ride, played and grilled!  It sure was a fun weekend!

Catching up again

Okay, so it happens about every other time we get caught up with the blog...we get behind!  Kyley has been having so much fun the past month with family, friends, and all kinds of activities.  Mommy and daddy are not even sure she knows how lucky of a girl she is to have so many great people in her life!
What do you think?
Much, much more to come...we have a lot of catching up to do!
