The girls had so much fun together just like their mothers do! They would sit and play forever if we let them. It was a constant banter back and forth between the two of them whether they were in their high chairs, the car seats, strollers or sitting on the floor playing. If one of them yelled...the other yelled. If one of them wanted a toy...the other one wanted it. If one of them laughed...the other laughed back. It was honestly too cute to see how they interacted. Again, like their mothers...there was never a silent moment!
They had so much fun talking, playing, shopping, boating and getting to know one another. There is no doubt that they will look forward to the summer visits and any visits just as much as Laurie and I do! We are already looking forward to making our trip to see them! It's time to share more fun about me with the world...or at least my family and friends! There is so much more about me that everyone should know!

Finally we meet!
My best friend from Iowa, Laurie, and her family made their yearly drive to Wichita last weekend. They come every year in June for the Kansas State Trap Shoot. It is a visit that she and I count down the days to for months in advance. Well, I need to clarify...her WHOLE family did not come. It was Laurie, Mike and Hadley. Her son, Palmer, was not able to make it as he was in Alabama already for the summer with his dad. It was a very special visit this year for several reasons. First, Laurie and Mike had not seen Kyley since she was in the NICU last June. Second, we had not yet met Hadley. Hadley was born in October and due to the flu/rsv season, our limited travels and family illnesses we were not able to make the trip to Iowa to meet her. Finally, it was something she and I had talked about for years...having girls the same age...and it happened (well 5 months apart anyway). Needless to say it was a very exciting visit for all of us.
