Week in Review

Kyley has been feeling much better this week.  Her cold is almost gone, and she is just dealing with the final congestion that bugs her at bedtime.  She has been in much better spirits which makes for a happier house.  Kyley is always on the go, but as she has felt better this week...I think her energy increased three-fold!  She has now mastered the walker and maneuvers her way through the kitchen.  She figured out how to get next to doors and drawers (her new favorite) and open them.  So, I had to make a quick run to Babies R Us to finally breakdown and get all of the child safety equipment.  Let me tell you...I am not sure adults will be able to move around our house!

Spring has most definitely Sprung, and we are loving life at the Kubik household!  Kyley loves having her socks off and chilling on the floor.  She goes crazy rolling left to right back to front, and she really enjoys her feet more so now when they are bare.  They even end up in the mouth quite frequently.  We are so excited to start getting outside for more walks as we did this week, and we cannot wait to go out and play!

Kyley was sporting her first jean skirt this week.  And, she wore it well:)!  I could not help myself when I saw it, so I had to buy it knowing it may not be practical.  However, she had no problems moving around and hanging out.  We even got to show it off to our wonderful neighbors when we were out for a walk...they thought she was very fashionable.  They don't even know what is yet to come now that it is Springtime.  Since we will be venturing out into the real world for some of her first appearances and meetings...she has to be dressed to kill right?

Kyley is truly just happy almost all of the time.  She gets excited at meal time for her food, and she definitely has her favorites.  She loves apples & chicken, ham & peas, and vegetable dinner.  Plus, she still is hooked to that wonderful cup and her water.  However, she has learned to fill her mouth with water and spit it back out...thankfully, it is just water right? 

Kyley is such a good little girl, and she loves to just sit and play by herself (well with mommy or daddy close by).  I guess that is a good thing since she may be her only playmate at home.  Thanks to her cousin Calyn we discovered these new terry cloth teethers from Babies R Us.  She could gnaw on them all day!  As Spring has come upon us life in general has gotten even busier and so has mommy's work, so Kyley and Daddy got to have a full day together yesterday.  It was hard for mommy to be away, and Kyley was excited to see her when she got home.  However, she seemed  to be having a pretty darn good time!
