I know that I have said it a million times before, but Kyley is such a happy little girl. She is even growing out of the grumpy morning stage. As you can tell she is quite the "ham" for the camera. She knows when she is supposed to smile or look at you. The problem is that she will ignore you if you she is busy playing or watching her show and does not want to be bothered. I just sit and watch her most days and think how good life really is, and it amazes me how much fun the most insignificant (or so we think) things can be.
But you know what is the most fun...Kyley gets to play with her cousin, Calyn all the time now. Calyn came to our house for the first time (well without her mommy & daddy) to play since last Fall. These two girls had so much fun, and I mean they really had fun! For the most part, they were always playing right next to each other...sitting, talking, touching, smiling, sharing, wanting the toy the other one has:)...truly loving life. We wondered how Kyley would interact after being alone for so long, but she thinks people are the best thing since sliced bread. She smiles and giggles and watches them nonstop. We are also hoping that maybe Calyn's crawling/pulling up/walking skills will rub off on Kyley lol! It is so fun to listen to them feed off each other. If one starts chatting, the other does...if one giggles, the other does and louder. We couldn't wait for the next play date with Calyn. Guess what? It was the next day! They got to see each other again. It is so wonderful to see them together.
In the past year we have had MANY, MANY friends and family members that have added a new little one to their family. We are so blessed that Kyley will have all these cousins and friends the same age. We hope that she gets to spend time with all of them and build lasting friendships as we have with their parents. My sister, Nola, will be here Friday with my niece, Stella for the March of Dimes/March for Babies walk this weekend. It has been 5 1/2 months since Kyley and Stella have been together. We cannot wait to see how much they have changed! Despite the age difference, I am pretty sure they are the same size lol...Calyn too! We finally get to meet my nephew, Mason over Easter. He is 3 months old and growing like a weed! He is as long as all 3 of these girls! One of my best friends, Laurie, had a little girl, Hadley in October. Unfortunately due to doctor's orders, illness, distance and schedules, we have not been able to meet her yet but we will soon!!! She is also about the same size as the rest...how crazy is that? And, we are hoping to meet another close friend's little girl, Sophie (born just before Christmas), over the holiday. Saturday we will also finally get to meet another one of the girls, Camryn, and little boys, Casyn, at the walk! And, there are even more...most of them little girls...just a few boys. So many friends for Kyley...she never knew she had, and she never knew she could have so much fun!
