Well, we had quite a weekend at our house. Kyley truly witnessed her first really disappointing Husker Football loss to Northwestern on Saturday. We didn't blame her when she wanted to play with her mower and drown out the tv, and we still are not sure if maybe it didn't have something to do with her new pink NE t-shirt versus the same gear she has been wearing all season up to this point. You see we Husker fans all have to try to find some reason for the loss other than the fact that we just are not the #1 team lol! Either way...she looked pretty darn cute sporting that new tee:).
The other big excitement was that Wichita felt 3 earthquakes that took place in Oklahoma near OK City (Prague and Sparks to be more precise) from late Friday night (early Sat am) through Monday evening. Kyley slept right through all of them, but you better believe that this will go in her baby book/scrapbook. It was the craziest feeling ever...we were not sure what was going on! The house and everything in it was shaking...windows, dishes, etc. This was a first for her mommy and daddy too, so there will be stories to share.
Oh no...is it another earthquake??? No, this is just Kyley destroying her play area and then showing mommy how she can stand all on her own now...nonstop. Boy are we in trouble!!
