So, it has been a long time since the last post. Mommy is VERY aware of this. She can give you a million excuses, but it is true...time, time, time...it takes time. But, it is necessary to make the time for this special keepsake. However, it really made it hard to blog for awhile as mommy was having some "blogging blues". She just got a bit frustrated with some of the features and the fact that my videos will not post!!! Anyway...enough explaining...here is how my August ended...I definitely didn't seem to have a case of the "blues"...neither did mommy!
It cannot be said enough how much Miss Kyley loves to play, create, explore, read, and most importantly show that she is a big girl! She has never drank out of any cup other than a cup with a straw, but she loves plastic water bottles and drinking out of cups without lids. Kyley does act like she is dying of thirst when she gets them though lol...she cannot seem to get enough of that good water!!!
Kyley and daddy decided one night a few months ago to line up toys in this little corner. Now, she loves to sit there with her babies or special friends, and then she asks mommy to take a picture. Mommy of course jumps on that opportunity because Kyley likes to turn away from the camera any other time.
She loves books, magazines, catalogs...you name it...this little girl loves to "read!"
And, she is pretty proud of herself too!
Kyley accidentally popped her balloon one night, and she was very heartbroken. Daddy surprised her the next day with a "few" replacement balloons. She honestly did not know what to do with all of them!
She was so excited to have company the last weekend in August! Kyley loves company, and it had been a few weeks. Mommy's dearest high school friend, Tia and her boyfriend, Luke came to visit. She was so excited to have them here, and she would not let them out of her sight. Kyley still talks about them and the Minnie Mouse book that Ms. Tia brought for her. She cannot wait to see them again soon!
Kyley has been so lucky to have regular play dates with her special friends, Caroline and Annabelle. They are 2 and 3 years old, and the three of them have such a great time together! She is so blessed to have them as friends and is always asking when the next play date is!
So, August ended well and on to a splendid, speedy September!
