Just more big girl stuff

Kyley is 22 months and a week old, and she is changing so fast lately!  Her daddy has had to travel and even he says that after 3 or 4 days away he notices major changes.  She has a memory that seems almost impossible for someone her age.  Kyley only needs to have something repeated once and it's in her little head for good.

She loves dolls just like almost any other little girl does at some point.  Kyley has never really caught on to Dora, but she knew who this doll was and that there was a camera in her backpack.  She then will take pretend pictures with the camera.  Dora also says a few words such as "hola," and it is so cute to hear Kyley repeat them.

Kyley was able to go spend some time with her older friend, Piper, a few weeks ago.  Piper has all the cool toys, so of course Kyley was in heaven.  The girls decided to play with the "dress up" jewelry, and man did the mommies get a kick out of them.  Kyley didn't even flinch when Piper was putting on the earrings, in fact, she ran around with them on until about the time we left.

It seems so impossible that this is the same little girl that was born so early, fragile and tiny.  Kyley sure has shown everyone that she intends to catch up with her peers as soon as possible.  She may even surpass some of them!
