Easter in Nebraska

Yes, Easter was a month ago, however, it was too fun to not share all that Kyley got to do! In one little weekend, she managed to do 2 Easter Egg Hunts, visit both sides of her family, play with cousins, color Easter eggs, eat lots of chocolate and get some great garb from the Easter bunny!

Kyley was not shy when it came to the Easter Egg Hunts.  She managed to get as many eggs as one little girl could get...and she wanted more.  Honestly, she had not really eaten much candy up to this point outside of a few M&M's here and there or a bit of cake once in a great while.  Kyley thought that Fig Newton's were cookies and Gerber Fruit Strips were a sweet treat!  Mommy and daddy may have let her over indulge over the weekend, and due to the fact that it is a month later can say they have created a "chocolate monster!"

Easter or any holiday is always fun when you get to see family!  Kyley has such a great group of cousins, aunts & uncles, and grandparents that adore her.  Mommy and daddy love taking her back to their hometowns and letting her experience some of the same things they did.  Wichita is not a metropolis by any means, but Kyley definitely will miss out on some of the things they got to do growing up unless they make sure she doesn't!

The trip home is never fun because Kyley hates leaving all the people and fun!  Mommy and daddy tried to make it a fun ride home, but again it just may have led to an upset belly lol!
