Another mommy and me day at the zoo!

Kyley and mommy had their routine or regular date at the zoo.  It is amazing how much more interested Kyley gets each time.  She has so much more to say and is so much more aware of everything around her.

She wanted to take this kitty home!

She had a serious discussion with the Gorilla or Monkey as she called it!

And, she loved watching the Meerkats and her favorite...the Penguins (but mommy did not have enough arms to hold Kyley and take the pictures)!

Our 1st real slumber party!

Kyley and Calyn finally had their first real slumber party at our house!  And boy did these two little girls have a good time...so did we of course.  They were nonstop all day and night long.  It did not matter how many times we picked up the toys, they would have the room torn apart in 5 minutes flat.  Calyn chased Kyley.  Kyley chased Calyn.  They took their first bath together, and they even had the same pajamas to wear to bed (NOT planned prior to)!  

It truly was so exciting for Kyley to have Calyn over as she looks at her picture and asks for her all the time.  She truly loves having her over to play.  Although, she was a bit jealous or concerned where her mommy and daddy were when they were not with her for a few days after the slumber party.   They truly were so fun to watch and so well behaved together.  We cannot wait for many years of slumber parties to come!

Random things about me...

 I am pretty much always happy, love clapping, singing and dancing.

 My eyes seem to be staying as blue as ever.

 I am a total mommy's girl.

 I love the bag my daddy got me in Vegas...it didn't have any money in it though??  hmmm??

 I am a complete goofball!

 I like to just sit and chill in the mornings.

 I am getting some thick, blonde hair finally!!!

 I still love my Multigrain Cheerios.

 I actually really like to play alone.

 I have a pretty darn cute smile when I wake up from nap most days.

 I really love talking to and watching myself in the mirror. 

 Snack time is necessary for me to keep my energy up all day.

I love copying and repeating everything from my videos!

Girl's Trip

A few weeks ago daddy was on a "guy's trip" in Las Vegas, so Kyley and mommy took a "girl's trip" to Nebraska...not as glamorous no, but we definitely had just as much fun as he did.

We had a slumber party with Jada, Ruby and Sophie.  It was such a great time.  We were all very silly and got to play lots.  Sophie and Kyley were getting into everything of course!  Mommy and Kyley cannot wait to visit them again.

We also got to go to Omaha and see cousins Morgan, Luke and Josh.  They just moved into a new house in the Spring and got a new puppy, Daisy!  She was really cute, and Kyley made it obvious to mommy that she wanted a puppy too.  Maybe in a few years:)!   Auntie Melissa let Kyley play in the cupboards and make lots of noise...she sure had fun!

Kyley helped with the drive when mommy got tired, and she sure was a fun roommate!  We spent a night at The Cornhusker Hotel, and we even ordered room service.  Mommy had business to do, and Kyley sure was a great business partner. 

It was our first ever "just girl's drive/trip"!  And, it was a success!  We will definitely do that again when we have time or have to go do some more business!

 I just wanted to jump on mommy's blog quick to let you know that we have been REALLY busy working, playing, traveling, growing, teething, etc.  She WILL be posting updates soon as I am sure you are all curious to hear and see what I have been up to!

It's Gilligan...and the Skipper too!

Well, it looks a bit like Gilligan anyway!  Last weekend we were able to get out for some much needed boat rides.  Kyley continues to love the boat and the outdoors.  She is getting a little bit harder to contain as she is mobile and wants to explore, but it is worth letting her for picture moments like these.
